It took one owed-Mezuzah-in-the-daylight-photo and one Grisha-shuffling-around-leaves photo before I realized that I hadn’t really shown you our Japanese Maple.
You probably have (at least) two questions. Why is Grisha shuffling around leaves? To mow them into his own mulch of course. He’s having several truck loads of leaves delivered from the town because we don’t have enough. What are those hot pink belts some of our trees are wearing? Those are marks for the tree guys to take them down. That will probably leave more light for the Japanese Maple and let us sleep at night knowing they won’t fall on the house.
