Signage of a revolution
There’s an abandoned building in downtown Carrboro. During it’s brief occupancy by Weaver Street, it housed Eitan’s radio show and was the site of my “indoctrination with co-op philosophy” trainings before I could work as a hostess at Panzanella. The buzz around town is that CVS would like to expand to encompass the corner, which some people see as economic growth and others see as neighborhood destruction. In the meantime, protests about the overgrown space are keeping the police busy.
