Blindlessly

April 28, 2012

Sometimes I make up words. They are normally mash-ups of real words and they occasionally make sense. For example, if your partner has to wake up at 4AM for work and is coaxing you into coming to bed early by turning off the living room lights and calling you from the bedroom and you’re dawdling because you want to finish a chapter of your book even if it’s by streetlight, you might yell back, “Of course I’d blindlessly follow you honey.” Then he’ll shout from the bedroom, “Oh yeah, blindlessly?” and you’ll say, “Uh huh, blindlessly” because you only have 3 pages left so nothing from the real world registers, especially not people making fun of you.

Then blindlessly gets added to a long list of absurdities (emphasis on the AB as in ABBY) that eventually becomes an excuse to use Grisha as a model for a visual dictionary of these new terms.
